Heritage Business of the Year Win


We are delighted to announce that Markey Group won Heritage Business of the Year at last night's So Glos Gloucestershire Business Awards.


The Heritage Business of the Year category was created for established businesses which have been part of Gloucestershire’s economy for 25 or more years, adapting to their industry’s challenges while driving growth, employment, and investment in the county. Andy Barham and Richard Markey were present to collect the award on behalf of all at the Markey Group.

We were also thrilled to be runners-up for the following categories:

  • Markey Group - Family Business of the Year category, won by Lanes Health.

  • Premiere Kitchens - Growth Business of the Year category, won by Cotswold Energy.

  • Fleet Electric - Green Business of the Year category, won by Stroud Brewery.
