Working in partnership with the Markey Group, we are able to find, source, and purchase land suitable for clients.

The whole process is managed in-house by our development team and includes undertaking due diligence, providing an initial early appraisal of the development, and obtaining planning consent. Once planning consent is obtained the scheme is delivered by us.  

Bath Road, Cheltenham

The scheme was for the design and construction of a mixture of 8, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with a commercial café on the ground on Bath Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.  The Markey Group purchased the site, obtained planning permission, and funded the development.


The £2.7m project with a 10-month programme was completed by Markey Construction in May 2023.


Honeybourne Gate, Cheltenham

The Markey Group purchased a site suitable for development on Gloucester Road, Cheltenham.  Planning permission was obtained for a 54-bedroom 5-storey retirement scheme in Cheltenham called Honeybourne Gate.   


Facilities at Honeybourne Gate include communal dining, a cinema, a Hairdressers, a Swimming pool, Atrium, Roof Garden, and Undercroft parking.  The scheme was completed in 2015.


The £7.3m project with a 14-month programme was completed by Markey Construction in 2014.


Parkview, Gloucester

The Markey Group established that there was a shortage of suitable care facilities in Gloucester and found a plot suitable for development located close to the Quays in Gloucester City Centre.  Planning permission was obtained for the proposed 3-storey, 80-bed Care Home with 17 close care apartments, and the design and build was completed by Markey Construction in 2015.


The Markey Group owns and operates Parkview, and the home offers specialist dementia and nursing facilities, residential care, close care apartments, and respite care services for older people.


Broadway, The Cotswold’s

The Markey Group purchased a site in the village of Broadway, an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Cotswold’s and obtained planning permission to create 1, 5-bedroom and 3, 4-bedroom detached houses.


Markey Construction completed the £1.3m project to a 10-month programme and works including associated roads, drainage, external services, and landscaping were completed in 2017.
